Knut Monier

Knut Monier was Baron Theodore von Monocle's first officer. He was a blond man who "had served with Theo since before there was an airship", and he was close enough to the Baron that he was "more than welcome to interrupt".
Role in Island of the Fae
When Theodore announced to the crew in the mess hall that he had reached a deal with the Atreblan count, Knut called out, "Excellent news." On the voyage, he kept watch from the bow with a long spyglass and was the first to call "Land incoming!" as the Fae island came into view.
Possible appearance elsewhere
In How Baron Von Monocle Named His Airship, Theodore's first officer is unnamed. He teases Theodore about his crush on Liliana and is found tied up after she takes the ship. Whether this is Knut is not stated. See the review notes for the author.
