The Zenwey Expedition
The Zenwey Expedition was Zaira von Monocle's bold mission to cross the Golgmarsh Ocean and find a cure for the giant's blood addiction ravaging Wyranth soldiers.
The Mission
After the evolved giant beneath Devil's Mountain was destroyed, thousands of addicted soldiers suffered violent withdrawals. Zaira proposed traveling to Zenwey, where her father had encountered shamans with knowledge of the giants.
The Journey
The crew encountered giant bats mid-flight, forcing an emergency landing. They reached the Zenwey coast and met Seeva, a tribal elder, before being directed to the wizard Juiyan in the Artacala Desert.
Betrayal and Enslavement
Juiyan betrayed the crew, selling them to the Nightmen. They were separated and enslaved:
- Zaira worked as a kitchen cleaner
- James, Ethan, and commandos were trained as arena fighters
- Marina was enslaved to Rhys, who secretly developed the cure
Escape
James killed arena champion Takala, and the crew escaped using a stolen bat-glider transport. Rhys joined them with the cure for giant's blood addiction.
Return
The Liliana returned to find Portsgate destroyed—the Wyranth had attacked while Rislandia's greatest weapon was away.
