Heather
Heather was a young girl encountered in the ruins of Portsgate during the events of The Blood of Giants. Approximately ten years old at most, she was found alone, frightened, and separated from her parents following a violent confrontation between soldiers and the settlement's inhabitants.
Description
At the time she was found, Heather appeared to have been surviving on her own for some time. Her hair was knotted, tangled, and dirty, and her dress was torn in several places and had evidently been worn for a week or more. She was crying and shaking when discovered.
History
Events in The Blood of Giants
When soldiers came to Portsgate, Heather's father ordered her to hide in a basement. While sheltering there, her lamp ran out of fuel, leaving her in darkness. She heard her father fighting with the soldiers but remained hidden as instructed. She was still in the basement when she was eventually found.
Upon being discovered, Heather was distressed and asked for her mother. She recognized the name Baron von Monocle when it was mentioned to her. After being found, she agreed to leave the basement and travel to The Liliana, on the condition that a note be left by the basement entrance for her parents.

Relationships
- Father — Heather's father directed her to hide in the basement when the soldiers arrived and was heard fighting with them. His fate following the confrontation was not established at the time Heather was found.
