Overview

Oler Pass served as the primary route through the Oler Mountains linking Rislandia to the Atrebla Kingdom. According to A History of Rislandia, it was described as "the primary route through the Oler Mountains to the Atrebla Kingdom" and "the primary route between Atrebla and Rislandia." The pass allowed limited trade between the two kingdoms and, by extension, shaped the diplomatic and economic relationship between them.

Description

Oler Pass was a high-altitude route through the Oler Mountains, considered treacherous in winter due to its exposure to snowstorms and avalanches. The road running through the pass was well-maintained but narrow, constraining the volume of traffic and trade that could move through it at any given time. The fortified town of Brighton lay near the pass, providing a staging point for military and civilian travelers alike.
