Corporal Perry
Corporal Perry was a muscular commando in the Grand Rislandian Army, serving under the command of First Sergeant Bartholomew Wright. He played a significant role in the reconnaissance and infiltration operations depicted in The Fight for Rislandia.
Description
Perry was described as muscular. He was skeptical by nature, particularly regarding the trustworthiness of enemy soldiers, as evidenced by his blunt assessment: "Can't trust a Wyranth."
Role in The Fight for Rislandia
In The Fight for Rislandia, Corporal Perry led the scouting team tasked with tailing a Wyranth caravan. The team followed a steam-powered Wyranth vehicle off the main road for several miles, ultimately locating an iron mine set between two hills. Perry reported his findings directly to First Sergeant Wright and Zaira von Monocle, informing them that there had been approximately twenty people at the Wyranth Iron Mine. In his own words:
"We came across a Wyranth vehicle—steam powered—and followed it off the main road for several miles down to an iron mine set between two hills."
Following the scouting report, Perry was assigned first watch at the forest camp. During the infiltration operation, he wore a Wyranth uniform as part of the team's disguise. He assisted in the administration of the counter-serum by holding the Wyranth driver's arm during the injection.
Perry was openly skeptical about releasing or trusting a captured Wyranth soldier, voicing his reservations to the group. When additional Wyranth forces arrived, Perry ran through the cave mouth shouting "Incoming!" to alert his teammates. After the ensuing firefight, he was assigned to guard the main entrance. He also informed the revived Wyranth soldier that he was in Rislandian territory.
