Gretoria Asylum
Gretoria Asylum was an asylum situated in Rislandia City, operated under the oversight of specialists in brain science and secured by personnel of the Grand Rislandian Army.
Description
The asylum occupied an older building that had been only barely refurbished. As the source text describes it, it was "an older building, barely refurbished, but with porous metal covering the windows." This porous metal covering allowed air and light to pass through while preventing patients from escaping. An armed Grand Rislandian Army guard was posted at the front door.
The interior featured a front desk and a secured door situated behind the front counter. Beyond that door ran a thin white hallway lined with tall doors, each fitted with a small slot through which staff could look in on patients. The facility employed a dozen specialists in brain science and made use of sedatives to control patient outbursts.
Role in The Blood of Giants
In The Blood of Giants, Gretoria Asylum housed Marina du Willet alongside three Wyranth prisoners who were suffering from addiction to Giant's Blood Serum. The facility's staff and security measures reflected the serious nature of the conditions being treated within its walls.
