Rislandia City Weapons Facilities
Rislandia City housed at least two known military weapons facilities during the period covered by The Fight for Rislandia: a primary weaponry creation facility where exploding shells were fabricated, and a secondary storehouse situated in the city's industrial district. The destruction of the primary facility by Wyranth saboteurs had significant consequences for Rislandia's war effort, leaving the shells already aboard The Liliana as the last of the supply.
Primary Weaponry Creation Facility
Also referred to as the weapons supply warehouse and the weapons creation facility, the primary weaponry creation facility was the main site in Rislandia City at which new explosive shells were fabricated for the Grand Rislandian Air Force and related military operations.
Role in The Fight for Rislandia
In The Fight for Rislandia, the facility was destroyed by Wyranth Empire saboteurs at the moment The Liliana departed Rislandia City. King Malaky XV identified the building personally, stating: "That's our primary weaponry creation facility." The destruction of the facility was also described in terms of its broader impact: "our weapons creation facility was sabotaged, just as you left." Because the facility was the sole site of shell fabrication, its loss meant that the exploding shells already loaded aboard The Liliana represented the last of Rislandia's supply. The sabotage was attributed to Wyranth agents and formed part of a coordinated effort to cripple Rislandia's military capacity.
Secondary Storehouse
Also referred to as the secondary weapons storehouse, this facility served as a weapons storage site distinct from the primary creation facility. It was located in Rislandia City's industrial district, near the western city wall.
Role in The Fight for Rislandia
In The Fight for Rislandia, after the destruction of the primary facility, Corporal Tyson revealed the existence of the secondary storehouse and led a group to its location. He noted: "There is a secondary storehouse. There might be a large bomb in storage." The possible presence of a large bomb—which would have otherwise been produced at the now-destroyed weapons creation facility—made the secondary storehouse a strategically significant objective. The Big Bomb referenced in connection with this facility may correspond to the device described elsewhere in the narrative.
