Wyranth War Factory
The Wyranth War Factory, also referred to as the automaton factory, was an industrial production facility operated by the Wyranth Empire. It was situated in the industrial district to the west of the Wyranth capital, built outside the original city walls, with a newer stone wall constructed to surround the area. The factory was distinguished by its large smokestacks and a large gated barn-like door serving as its primary entrance.
Description
The interior of the Wyranth War Factory was dominated by a gear-based conveyor assembly line. Metal equipment within the facility pressed and forged parts, while piping ran chemicals through tubes as part of the manufacturing process. Freshly minted automatons came off the end of the conveyor and marched into a line before shutting down. More than a hundred completed automatons were stored inside the facility at any given time. As one observer recorded upon entering, "A large assembly-line factory filled my vision."
Role in The Iron Wedding
In The Iron Wedding, Princess Kristina oversaw operations at the war factory. She guided Ivan, the Iron Emperor and Zaira von Monocle on a tour of the facility, during which the scale and function of the automaton production line were observed firsthand.
