Lantern Bay
Lantern Bay is the bay east of the Rislandia-Wyranth Peninsula, labelled on the official world map. It washes the eastern coasts of both Rislandia and the Wyranth Empire. Artrebla lies across it to the north-east and Perryton to the east. The map shows a small island at its mouth.

According to A History of Rislandia, Lantern Bay bounds the Iberanth Peninsula to the east, consistent with its role as the eastern coastal sea of both Rislandia and the Wyranth Empire. The sourcebook describes the eastern coastline as calmer than the Golgmarsh Ocean to the west, characterising it as "the calmer eastern coastline, facing Lantern Bay and the open ocean beyond."

The bible identifies Lantern Bay as part of a broader eastern sea lying between the continent of Areth and distant lands, connecting Rislandia to trade routes reaching Zenwey, Nyanzi, and the Dragonmist Isles, as well as more distant destinations. The Tilway River is noted as flowing from the Oler Mountains down to Lantern Bay, making it a significant inland waterway terminus. The natural harbours of the eastern coast are described as making the shoreline ideal for shipbuilding.
Cliffside Castle
A detail not found on the novel-based account on this page: according to A History of Rislandia, Cliffside Castle overlooks Lantern Bay from the northeastern coast, and its cannons are positioned to command the bay. The sourcebook quotes the castle as "overlooking Lantern Bay," giving the bay strategic as well as commercial importance.
Naval Presence
The bible notes that both the Rislandia Navy and the Wyranth Imperial Navy patrol the waters of Lantern Bay, reflecting the long rivalry between the two powers that share the peninsula.
